Life changed

I just bought a new earbud type earphone from Creative; this is for noise isolation. When you are wearing the ear phone, basically you cant hear other noise. There are pros and cons of course. The good things, it can isolate the unwanted noise, cons is bad for your ear in long term.

Ppl like me cant live without mp3 player, at work, at home, before sleep, i live with music. And all this started when i was very little. I remembered i got so much influences from my siblings. Where by the type of songs i listening to, the genre, the artists and etc... are all very much similiar with what my sister listening to. From alternative to post rock, from techno to trance...... My type of music is more or less following my sister. The one we always called her as ATM - as she plays the money dispenser role in our family. Haha, dont slap me if you are reading this.

Well, we are NOT from a rich or above average family, so there are many things that we dont have when ppl around us already had that. For eg, when my friends using CD player, i was still using cassette player. We used to have walkman and we live with it. My sister used to have Sony walkman as shown below;

And that consider very ýeng' back then.... we felt very happy with this. And i got my first Aiwa walkman when i was 11 yrs old. Not to mention how happy i was. And i carried this with me all the time, and until now i cant go out without music. If i travel, i would never forget my music source. Of course, right now no body using walkman. And i think those younger kids dont even know how walkman looks like.

And using cassette tape, alws made me rewind my favorite tracks. So i used to record the same songs (may 1 to 2 songs) into the cassette tape and listen it for an hour without having to rewind the tape.

When i grow older, things get smaller and smaller. From walkman turn to CD walkman; Haha, but after having CD, everything is solved. All i need to do is to click repeat button, the CD will alws play the same songs for me.

MD walkman

and now mp3 player, ipod .... etc. And yet we still complain our earphone is not providing good sound quality and so we spend more money to purchase a better earphone.

And when we think and look back, what were we back 10 - 15 yrs ago? I was a gal riding my Yamaha 80 to school everyday. My pocket money was like 50 a month, and of course thats not enough. So I worked part time in McD restaurant to earn another 100- 200. And thats consider alot to me back then, i could buy alot of things without asking money from my mom. I didnt get to eat Mcd, KFC until i was 16. And i was lucky enough to be the youngest in the family. I got to wear the latest Nike Air Max sport shoes when everyone was keen to have that. Back in 1998, a pairs of Nike Air Max cost 495!! And i had 2 pairs to wear!! And i was using Kiplings school bags CK shirts, nice shoes and bags from my sister all the time. Thanks to my dearest cheche to fulfill my 'needs' !! Iwould say thats one kind of pampered!! I dont need to work so hard to get those....

When you grow older, you asked for more. Sometimes we need to look at the older times, and appreciate what we have for now. Stop complain about how bad your life is, if you are still given a job, stay with it and work hard. If you are unemployed, the god is trying to challenge your patient, be patient and keep looking for new job.
The life isnt end like this, be happy.
