Its been a long long time since my last complain to stremyx. Ar... that was last year January i kept making noise on how bad their service is.
Then we always give 2nd chance and i did. When i got an error called error 691; there was a nice lady explained to me what was this error all about and how am i supposed to deal when i see that again. So i started to feel better with this ISP once more.
I still remember when i called, i told her i got an error and unable to log in to my streamyx account. She asked my username and asked a few questions for verifications; Then in just seconds, she could retrieved what was my error and immediately solved the session hang problem for me.
Error 691; there are 4 reason whose may cause to this error;
1) Session hang in domain
2) Invalid username and password
3) Suspended service
4) Corrupted dialer
See thanks to that helpful lady and now i know better. And whenever i got this error, i called again, if they need longer time to check and i will tell them straight away to terminate their session at the domain. Otherwise i cant login at my end. STUPID LOR! They dont even know their own errors' rootcause.
Again i faced the same problem since saturday morning. And i called this time , they checked and verified my account payment; username and passwords are correct. And i asked how could i still having this error??
officer 1: Your username and password must be incorrect, pls try again, thanks for calling.
Me : WAIT WAIT!! CAN YOU WAIT UNTIL I RELOG IN FOR VERIFICATION??

officer 1: (i couldnt remember what bullshits he told me but he was being too useless and did not provide any technical information that i need.
I hung up because i felt like wasting time with this STUPID CUSTOMER OFFICER!!!
I called again in 15 mins time,
officer 2: Thanks for the verification Ms Chew, i checked from system and verified that your username and password is correct; account is active. So i suspect your dialer is corrupted and now i will assist you to redo a new dialer. Are you sitting infront of your computer?
Me : (this one sounds better) yes i am, please go ahead.
officer 2: (after telling me what to do) Ms. Chew, pls try to log in again.
Me : I tried and now i got a new error called Error 678!
officer 2: (he gave me another method by adding TCP/IP configurations) Ms. Chew can you try again?
Me : Erm.... still cannot, i still seeing error 678! *sigh how come ??
officer 2: (after 2 attempts, this guy also lost) Ms. Chew i shall report your problem to our technical personnel. Give me sometime to generate an error report. Please hold on.
Me : Thanks alot.
officer 2: Ms. Chew this is your report no. #######, can i have your cell phone no. so that our technician can contact for further assistance?
Me : Yes, here it is....###-#######
Well, even he did not manage to solve my problem but at least he tried to assist and help as further as he could. Unlike the 1st guy, STUPID PIG!!
I then uninstalled my dialer, and reinstall my modem again. Still unable to log on?? I called my one of my friends who is an expert in hardware issues. He told me : nah.... not your pc/modem but streamyx gateway in penang. They are fixing it, you need to wait until tmr afternoon lor.
