Its chinese tradition to get back to home for dinner on chinese new year eve. And my family doing the same all the time. But this time is slightly different, where my sis and bro in law are here to eat together with us. This never happened since 2004. Haha, i feel good about it. Thanks to everyone who made the effort to come home.
And also thanks to my family professional chef - my bro made this dinner so wonderful. And also mom was buzy since early morning to prepare for this for us. Bunch of thanks to them. Love you all!!
Here is the soup, I dont know how to tell what contained in the soup, but its just nice to drink la. My mom is a soup expect, for you to know. She is good in any kind of soups.

Butter prawns, fresh and nice

Stir fried vegetables, never miss this one all the time

Steamed chicken - not so keen on this dish

My favourite fried onion with sugar, you guys may feel weird who would eat this thing?? Well, this is Thailand recipe from my grandmother who was a Thailand chinese from Bangkok. We usually eat steamed chicken with this matching source. Its tasted so nice as the onion is fried and you will feel crunchy and sweetness of it. Perfect matching.

Cili padi, i dont like it... too hot for me

Steamed fish, so fresh and nice.

The oval shape table is now full with all dishes

Not to miss this pork leg with sea cucumber

Till then i wish all of you having a great 2009, say good bye to the rats , good bye to the bad luck and welcome the good things to come.
Happy chinese new year.
