On my god!!! I am affected by a new virus in town called Xmas mania!!! I been thinking how my Xmas party like and how i want it to be this year. I recalled last year my Xmas was quite fun but i didnt feel so happy back then.
The reason being i was in China with my mom. The weather was too cold and i didn't really feel comfortable staying there. Our trip reached the last 3 days during Xmas day land that was the highest sea level place we visited. And too bad we got to stay at the coolest place for 2 nights in China. The hotel was nice, food was good; but weather was bad. I even refused to get down from our designated tour bus for visiting some of the scenery places. Yea i was so bloody stupid ya ma... paid so much to go there but refused to visit those places. To be honest for this trip la, i don't really like it, i paid 2.8k for only 1 reason! To company my mom to go there because i know she really wanted to go but she got no company. So i sacrificed abit, not a little but i paid for her parts too plus shopping and capalang la.... spent up 4k for that trip. But i know my mom was happy that i go with her. She got sick for 3 weeks after the trip. Hahaha!!!
And the worst case is that i got gastric there!!! Thats my nightmare!! All meals provided but why i still got gastric??? The weather was cold, i got hungry very fast as my body burning my fat to generate heat to make me feel warm. (Not so warm though!) And that was my first long distance OVER SEA trip in my life!! So i never brought any food with me, some of our tour mates brought biscuits and medicine with them for emergency use. Me and my mom?? We brought nothing but our own passports and clothes only loh! So i got hungry for 2 hours before i got the chance to sit down to eat. The scene was nice, and it was very nice indeed. My China Yunnan Trip Dec 2006 I must say the scenery places in China are first class but too bad their hygienic habit needs help!! Couldn't stand their bad toilets!! Geli loh!
Overall the trip was nice but the only setback is the weather. It was too cold and ppl like us cant get used to their cold, so i had told my mom. No more winter trip to these 4 seasonal countries. Autumn or Spring will be good choice. No summer trip too, their summer is very bloody the HOT eh! My next year target traveling places will be Mount climbing to Kota Kinabalu, National park and Bali. May be planning to go ShangHai to visit my koko who is now stationed in there. That depends on how much savings i can have by then. Sabah trip is a definite thing, we spend so much to visit other ppl place but our own county specialty should not be missed too.
Thats why i planned for both Sabah and National Park. I am adventurous type so i like these places. If you like relaxing places can consider Redang or Perhentian Island.
I have a few medium - cost destinations to visit in mind; spending amount min RM1 to 3K
1) Bali - Water sports
2) Toba Lake - Medan; hiking trail
3) Koh Samui - Hiking plus water sports
4) Bangkok - Macam macam ada!
5) Cambodia - Angkor Wat
6) Vietnam - Who says Vietnam is under developed?? Their Ho Chi Min city is 100% wifi enabled. Our so called MSC city in KL, what we have ar?? Paise lo...
Medium to high cost destinations, spending amount min RM3 to 5k
1) Hong Kong - Cheapest Disneyland we can go in Asia
2) Korea - Scenery places
3) Tibet - >RM 5k silk road, summer temperature max 14 to 15 celcius, haha bloody cold!
4) Australia - Macam macam ada!
5) New Zealand - Hiking trail and nice landscape
Local attractions; spending amount RM500 to 1.5k
1) Redang Island
2) Perhentian Island
3) Langkawi Island
4) Ipoh Gua Tempurung
5) National Park - Pahang
6) Tioman Island
7) Sabah Kota Kinabalu
And this year i got no such luxurious kind of Xmas liao lo. This year we only managed to go Genting highland. Muhaha, ok la, to explain myself ... last year spent so much liao so this year got to 'seh seh' liao. Although we are going to Genting ONLY, but the excitement never reduced though. The main reason is due to the ppl who joined us for the trip. This time round is our own IT group plus a few outsiders. Wa syok!!! Entire group go travel together ler.... we are all set for this trip and ready to scream out loud!!!! Woo hoo!!
