Signs that showing he is a player;
1) Never wants you to stay over
2) Keep his own social life
3) Runs an hour or more without calling or apologizing
4) Notices every attractive women
5) Make excuses for not joining you for parties
etc... more more more la... just name a few here.
To player, future is a dirty word. If a guy is really serious about you, he feels comfortable organizing a weekend away in 2 months or talking about seeing a band with you next week or next couple of months.
To ladies; having problem pinning him down to commit anything doesnt mean he is not into you but sometimes, guys would like to take things slow. It might just that he doesnt like being rushed. Then again, if he doenst even behave like he's in a relationship - like make his own plan without including you or even not telling you what he is up to, then he is not treating you with respect or care.
Example;
1) Dont call for days
2) Plan his own holiday without informing you
3) Call you for the sack of not letting you angry
4) Tell you that he is too busy when you really need him (for whatever reason)
He gives constant gifts. Yea.... this could be a very bad sign. Sure, its nice if he turns up with bunch of flowers or buys you gifts every now and then. Then again, its not great if he is using gifts as a substitute for real giving - by his heart. Main reason could be due to he doesnt really feel a connection, he cant tell you what you want to hear. So he covers it by showering you with presents.
Lastly, not all ex boy friends can be mates; depending on how the ex treated you when you were attached together.
