I am going to talk about stingy guys here. I couldn’t get a word to name until I asked my colleague this afternoon. Hehe
The reason why I am writing this is because …. I was talking to my friend on how gals evaluate guys. The most significant element we see from guys is …..his generosity. Then again, you might ask, how generous is considered as generous?? Well lets start on my definition here;
I must say I am quite generous when comes to eating out. Be it eating with family or friends. May be I mixed with guys more often than gals. My routine schedule – every weekend go out with mom, eating in restaurant or road side stalls sometimes. Spending amount range from 20 to 50 bucks. If it is a special occasion like Mothers day, Mom’s birthday, I will bring her to restaurant like The Ship / Hotel for set meal or buffet. When both my sis and bro are around, we will definitely eating out. Spending range from 70 to 150. I am not the only one who pays the bill, we will take turns la.
If I am dating with a guy, as usual, guy wants me, he got to invest money on me. Oh yea, i should stop being so how lian! I am not asking him to bring me to hotel or equivalent restaurants for every date here. Just that, when we go out, or somehow before gal agreed to be attached to a guy; guy should show certain level of his generosity to gals. This shows his respect and how important the gal to him. Agree? If a guy not willing to spend money on gals even during the “chasing” stage, sorry guys, you are a complete loser!!! If you are so calculative then my suggestion to you is to stay at home and eat with your mom everyday. Then you really save a lot of money. Good idea isn’t it??
Let me share another example;
A guy dating with a gal, dating spots….. cinema, eating at the road side stalls or gurney hawker center. NO Coffee Bean, Starbucks, Nando’s, Dome, Secret Recipe, Sushi King …. Etc.
Reasons? Expensive and waste of money! Everything he spends, calculate in details and always tell the gal how much he had spent on dating for that month.
Hm…. Ok fine, may be he is lack of experience so the gal gave hints to him, this is not the way it supposed to be. Then again, the same thing continues. The gal bought present for the guy and showed him sometimes he needs to be more generous. At least the gal made the initiative. OMG!! Still no improvement??? Since they are so NOT compatible ...at last, gal dumped the guy. The guy got mad and told the gal that she was being materialistic…blablabla….! Not to mentioned, asked for his money back! Hello? did the gal point a gun to his head forced him to pay?? OMG, what a stone-edge scrooge!
Guys, you really no need to tell gals how much you spent on her. If you got not enough money then don’t go out. Otherwise keep to yourself and spend wisely when you decided to have a gal fren. If you think having a gal fren brought burden to you, then stop thinking of having one.

Coffee Bean – 20-30 for 2 drinks
Starbucks – 20-30 for 2 drinks
Nando’s – 30++ for 2 persons
Dome – 60++ for meals and drinks
Secret Recipe – 30 for drinks and cakes
Sushi King – 50 for 2 persons
Kim Gary – 30++ for 2 persons
Old Town – 20 – 30 for 2 persons
Food Loft - 40+ for 2 persons
A&W - 20 for 2 persons
Higher range;
EQ coffee garden – 50++ per pax
Evergreen buffet – 46++ per pax
Traders hotel – 75++ per pax
Park Royal – 70++ per pax
The ship – 70++ for 2 persons (depends on what you eat, if you eat lobster then prepare for 200)
Victoria Station – 70-80 for 2 persons
EQ Kampachi – 88++ per pax
(For higner range, I only go once or twice a year. Special occasion like Mother’s day, New year’s eve, Xmas eve. Festival season price would be higher by 30-40%. )
If you would to date a gal and still thinking should you ask for AA system, then thank you very much, please go home. May be need some training, and if you think this is ridiculous to be trained then you deserve to stay alone.
Guys, we never want you to spend >50 on every meal we had. And we never ask you to buy expensice present for us. Remember that! See now, with merely 5 bucks still carry the same effect. Don’t be stingy, and you definite feel happier.
