I realized many mens like to say this “Simplicity is beauty” Hm…. I doubt so! Think ….. what was the first thing attracted men’s attention when they see a gal? Obviously, men look at gal’s appearance. The way they dress, the way they set their hair, they way they walk as well as their make up.
Now, still telling me natural is beauty. How about this… a gal wearing trendy dress, with natural make up (since you guys like natural), beautiful hair VS a gal wearing normal Tshirt and pants, no makeup, wearing AUNTY TYPE hair clip on her hair. Now?? Which one attracted men’s attention?? Everyone knows the answer. To me, those men saying "Simplicity is beauty"deserve a tight slap.
Ok lor, ask your wife not to make up on her wedding day la. Since you guys said SIMPLICITY is beauty ma. Some men will even say this “I want my gf to look ladylike and not so smart. So that I can protect her.” Oh hohoho! In this case, if the gal look smart = need not to protect is it? I know I know… men don’t mean that way but still, they hope gal to look or pretending to be dumb. So that men can feel they are smarter, stronger and able to protect gals. Hello!!! Stop that, stop your bloody ego lah!
Why must gal look dumb to attract guys?? Thanks to their EGO. I finally found out, why my classmate – Teddie Goh being so popular back in high school. To me, she is not very pretty but look very innocent, cute and 'protected' type in mandarin we called it 天真，可爱，楚楚可怜! See?? This type of gals usually very popular, now you guys get what I mean now?? I am not cute, definitely not innocent (I was innocent 20 yrs ago though).
Asking me to behave like a lady? Hm… I’ve got ladies organ, so is that enough to consider myself as lady? :D To those who know me longer, they know how I behave like. I talk very loud, laugh out very loud too, I don’t know whether or not should I called myself as boyish type. I think I am but that also depends how you define ‘boyish’. I have more male friends compared to female. I guess most probadly due to my boyish attitude. Gals cant get along with me most of the time. I mean once they got closer to me, they tend to get away from me. I am not those guys who know how to cherish them all the time, I guess that’s why!
Well I still wear makeup, and I like to make myself look prettier. I still wear earrings, dresses, heels and carry ladylike handbag. Let me show you what is called natural…..
100% bare face - might scares you guys away
Now what is called not natural, with foundation, mascara for eye lashes, blusher and lip gloss.
Which one look better? You know the answer. I am not saying I look pretty but my face look so different after I put on make up. Agree? And obviously I look better with make up. Well, who doesn’t ?? :D A little makeup to me look prettier, boost up my confident, WHY NOT?
