In my previous post, I mentioned about Cetaphil and now after 5 days use, now is the right time for me to post a review for this couple.
Dr. prescribed me with Restoraderm range which you cant get it from general pharmacy, I tried to find them but didnt find any signs of them. Only those mild version but not these two.
The cleanser is very very mild, creamy milky texture. Its like you are putting yogurt on your body when you shower. The cleanser got little or no smell at all unless you are very particular with medicated stuffs. For me, I dont really care, as long as it can help to recover my bad skin. I am fine with it. The after shower feeling is not oily but soft and smooth skin. The setbacks is that since its cream so you tend to use MORE than what you actually need. As we are so used to foaming shower gel, a 20cents pump is enough for the shower (as general) but when you use cream cleanser you tend to use more than that. I tried to control my pump dosage - this is expensive stuffs though!
Well, I do not know the price but I will try to find out, my top guess should be above $60 below $80. I definitely willing to pay, the ultimate goal is to recover from my bad skin and not affecting my life!
Here is the ingredients for your reference:
Aqua, sodium trideceth sulphate, butyrospermum parkii butter, helianthus annuus seed oil, glycerin, sodium lauroamphoacetate, cocamide mea, sodium chloride, allantoin, arginine, caprylyl glycol, citric acid, disodium EDTA, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, 1,2-hexanediol, methylisothiazolinone, niacinamide, potassium sorbate, sodium PCA, tocopheryl acetate
Here comes my top favorite for now! This moisturizer is superb duper good!!! I apply immediately after shower and the moisturizing power is really good. Cetaphil never failed to deliver on what they claimed on its performance. A full day outdoor (out of house not under sun) and my skin still feel soft and supple. I tried many other brands that claimed their lotion/cream/emollient oilment able to provide long hours moisturizing but I think my skin just need something more than what they can give.
I really like this lotion and I can see my skin is slowly back to normal, skin patches caused by eczema and scratching scars are fading off. Thanks to Cetaphil!! You are definitely my favourite brand from now on. So my maintenance is getting higher as normal pharmacy lotion - Johnson & Johnson, Nivea or Olay will not in my shopping list since these doesnt really help me. You should feel good now if you have good skin!!
